Q: I have a really large pool and am concerned about keeping it clean. What do you suggest?
A: My suggestion would be to schedule a twice-a-week service, especially during summer months. We service several pools that require two weekly visits to ensure the pool remains in top condition. During the cooler Fall and Winter months, we can reduce visits (and costs) to once weekly.
Q: When the weather cools, starting in late Fall, is there any way I can save some money on pump time?
A: Absolutely! Beginning in November, we suggest changing the pump schedule to run at night.
This schedule will keep water circulating during times of possible freezes, reducing the likelihood of equipment damage and electric consumption, saving money! Once Spring returns and the temperature begins to rise, we will return to warm weather schedules.
Q: I have a special event coming up and want my pool to be perfect. Can I arrange an additional service visit before my event?
A: Sure. We will make every attempt to schedule an additional service for special events; Birthday parties, wedding receptions,
family gatherings, etc.
Q: We use our pool a lot, especially during summer months when our kids are out of school. We also have a couple of dogs
who enjoy the pool, too. Are there any precautions we should take to help keep our pool clean?
A: Yes. Pool sanitation is a very important facet of healthy water and a clean pool. Kids’ toys, sunscreens and oils all contribute to challenge water sanitation. Grass clippings, leaves and other organic debris also provide an environment for algae growth.
Q: I like to be pro-active and keep my equipment in good working order. Is there anything I should do between service days?
A: Certainly. Keeping the pump and skimmer baskets clean and free of debris is important to good operation of your equipment.
Anything you can do that allows the pump to run well is helpful. Also, it’s a good idea to keep an extra gallon of chlorine available
for use after a party where lots of people are using your pool. Add the chlorine after the party to help keep the pool water sanitized.
